  • Volunteer (34 years old) Venezuelan Association for Hemophilia (AVH).
  • Advisor to the health commission of the National Assembly and the IVSS, on chronic diseases, high cost and risk (1998-present).
  • Organizer of 26 camps for patients with hemophilia (1998 – 2013).
  • Founder (CODEVIDA 2003), patient organizations: Hemophilia, Transplants, HIV-AIDS, Cancer, Leukemias.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Facilitator in the Twinning Program of WFH Organizations: Venezuela-Nicaragua (2002-2005); Venezuela-Dominican Republic (2004-2007); Venezuela-Ecuador (2005-2009); Venezuela-Brazil (2010-2013).
  • Member of the Board of Directors of the NGO Alianza Latina (2015-2023).
  • Facilitator in different Congresses or training workshops in LATAM

PROJECTS DEVELOPED

  • Formation of subsidiaries of a health organization (AVH 1999-2023).
  • Preparation of census and registration of patients with coagulopathies in Venezuela (2000-2024). Marco Polo Project (2010-2013)
  • Strengthening patient organization (1996-2015) (2000-2024)

  • Collaborator in: Preparation of “Guide to develop a national patient census” FMH (2005) ; National Consensus on hemophilia treatment in Venezuela (2013); “Manual for the treatment of people with hemophilia” Marco Polo Project (2014).
  • Co-rapporteur of 42 versions of the Venezuelan National Hemophilia Program. (2002-2016)
