Annual Work Plan 2025

Vision, Mission and Objectives of the CoA. Actions 2025.

Based on our Vision as an organization, which is Access to safe treatments and comprehensive care for patients with bleeding disorders in the Americas, we have built the 2025-2030 Strategic Planning of the Coalition of the Americas, for which we consider it essential to strengthen some tools and actions year after year with the aim of overcoming various problems that are current in the region and achieving various objectives set in the medium and long term.

It is in this sense that we give an order and strategic guidelines to the actions, projects and programs that we generate and will generate, which all work jointly towards the same path for the Americas.

It is then that we have marked the problems that we detected and that motivate us to continue thinking about concrete actions that generate impact, are effective, efficient and modify reality and thus jointly overcome the continent’s barriers. The challenges to overcome are:

  • New Paradigm in purchasing: advance the process of discussing and executing new purchasing models for treatments, innovating in the analysis of medium and long-term costs, generating Health Technology Assessments and influencing payers to modify purchases for each country.
  • Equity in access to treatment: improve and equalize access to treatments in the Americas, generating spaces for technological innovation, agreements with strategic partners, direct assistance to organizations and comprehensive strengthening.
  • Identification and Diagnosis: continue to increase the registration of male and female patients in the Americas with bleeding disorders by 2% annually and facilitate the means to obtain a safe and efficient diagnosis.
  • Comprehensive care: collaborate with the dissemination of Shared Decision Making tools, generate data within an objective Quality of Life Index to generate information and value and finally collaborate with the integration of volunteer leaders of health organizations and professionals .
  • Education and empowerment: Continue with the education and training process on soft, general and also specific skills for the leaders of each organization.
  • Research: Generate spaces for analyzing the information available on the topics surrounding treatments, create new databases and generate new research
  • Institutional strengthening: generating tools for institutional improvement organizations, accompanying them and carrying out necessary technical follow-ups, to advance with generational change, improving communications and planning internal roles.

Our annual actions are directly linked to the achievement of medium and long-term objectives, generating value and impact annually and comprehensively.
